This pavement sensor housing can be used as a rough in kit which will allow the installer to easily place multiple units in the field. This will allow the sensor head to be moved from rough in kit to rough in kit as needed to adjust the sensing for site variances. The rough in kit will use glue up knock-outs to facilitate the use of PVC conduit.
The new housing can also be used as service replacements for SIT-6E / HSC-4 / HSC-5 units.
